Two portable displays, different jobs
A retractable banner stand and an A-board are not the same product. A retractable stand displays a tall banner that rolls into its base. An A-board is a separate freestanding sign category with an A-frame holder. Choose based on the available floor space, the viewing position and the place where the display will be used.
Retractable banner stands
Our retractable stand is 33 × 81 inches and includes the stand and a carry case. It is a useful format to consider for event booths, reception areas, presentations and pop-up displays. The tall layout gives room for a main headline, a supporting image and a short contact detail. Keep the most important information high enough to remain visible when a table or people are in front of the display.
A-board signs
Our A-board sign is 24 × 36 inches and includes the A-frame holder. Its smaller format suits a concise message near an entrance or other permitted location. A simple offer or event notice is usually easier to read than a dense menu of information.
Plan placement carefully
Check permission and any applicable property or sidewalk rules before placing a sign outside. Keep entrances, exits and accessible paths clear. Do not assume that a portable display is suitable for every outdoor condition; ask about placement and take it inside when conditions are unsuitable.
Preparing the design
Build the layout for the specific product dimensions rather than stretching an unrelated design to fit. Ask about the final template and any areas reserved for hardware before completing the artwork.
Request the right display
Select Stand or A-board from the home page, add your artwork or request design help, then send a quote request. No payment is taken in the quote-request form. For help choosing a display, call (206) 354-2461.
